My snail laid eggs under water, what should I do?

I have what I think is a mystery snail. It laid eggs under water inside a hollow rock ornament. I know they usually lay eggs above the water, but I've also read some ppl saying that they have experienced snails laying eggs under water. I want the snails to hatch. What should I do? Leave them under water where they are? Take the rock out and put it in shallow water (so the eggs are just at the water line)?
