Why is it when I stopped being 'easy' Men stopped pursuing me?

I am 25 and have led a promiscous past. But over the last year I have drastically changed. I meet men often and no matter how witty, down to earth and friendly I am---if I don't accept their invite to come over late at night or accept their 'propositions' for ual activity---I never hear from them again. I know this is a good thing bcuz it's showing their true intent, but how am I to meet a good man, if I keep getting chumped off because I don't put out. I'm NOT a tease, I initiate dates---but it's like, if they don't get to sleep with me in the first damn week of meeting me---they lose interest. GUYS!! Am I doing something wrong? And please don't say it's where I'm meeting them---I don't go to church, and I'm not going to roam around bookstores and grocery aisles. I meet these men at house gatherings, events, lounges---old college ociates etc...I just need to know whats the point of being a prude when it doesn't seem to be paying off??!!
