Current Financial Crisis: easy to avoid, so hard to resist?

Good question.I personally think they didn't realize how QUICKLY people were going to call it quits, once thy started going under, by then it was to late to sell them off.It happened practically overnight. By then everyone knew what was going to happen. Not that I don't think they didn't expect it,because they knew,but not as fast as it did,hence they couldn't sell them.
