What are some clis or good adventure or fantasy books?

You might try Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, or "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Andre Norton wrote the "Witch World" series which is more science/fantasy, but still entertaining. My particular favorite series is "The Dark is Rising" by Susan Cooper. It's more juvenile oriented, but still well-written and highly recommendable for adults. It's riveting.
