Why people think that going to the doctor works ?

ok so i suffer from depression and social anxiety, but why people think that going to a doctor to take meds work ? i know meds dont work, i always that go to the pharmacy all the people look really bad, so if it work i suppose to see happy people there ,and i always look at happy people and i say hmmmm one those are taking meds and are working ?hahaha i dont think so people are good becouse they do things without meds, id dont understand why people think that antidepresants antianxiety meds and all that work? i dont get it, why they keep saying that? ok stopppppppppppppp now! that doesnt work .
